A Thousand Horses Return to Country Radio with “A Song To Remember”

A Thousand Horses

Country-rock quartet A Thousand Horses made their return to country airplay today with their latest single “A Song To Remember” (LISTEN HERE). Co-written by Michael Hobby [vocals], Brad Warren, Brett Warren and Christopher Stevens, the “infectious tune” (Billboard) serves as their debut single since signing with GRAMMY-Award winner Dave Cobb’s Low Country Sound and Elektra Records. In partnership with Warner Music Nashville, it is also the lead single from their forthcoming album Let The Band Play On.

The band recently released the accompanying music video for the “upbeat, polished track” (Taste of Country) (WATCH HERE). Directed by Patrick Tohill, the video was filmed on a stormy afternoon in Watertown, TN. The guys dealt with intense lightning, which makes a cameo in the video, that Hobby said provided “the perfect stormy backdrop for illustrating the isolation of heartbreak purgatory the song speaks to.” The guys also featured the song in their ATH At Home series, a weekly video series featuring acoustic versions of their songs as well as covers every Friday on their social platforms (WATCH HERE).

The two-time ACM-nominated group saw radio success right out of the gate with their debut single “Smoke” in 2015. The Platinum-certified single reached No.1 on both the Mediabase and BillboardCountry Airplay charts. The track is off their debut album Southernality, which peaked at No.3 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and features their follow-up single “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial.” Now a Platinum phenomenon with 100 million+ streams, sold out shows, and acclaim by Billboard,The Boot, Sounds Like Nashville and more, A Thousand Horses are set to release their forthcoming album Let The Band Play On later this year. Rolling Stone declared the record as one of the “Most Anticipated Albums of 2020,” also placing released tracks “Drinking Song” and “Livin’ My Best Life” on its “10 Best Country, Americana Songs to Hear Now.”
