Chris Janson

The lyrics of his latest single “Done” are more relevant toPlatinum-selling recording artist and award-winning singer / songwriter Chris Janson than ever as he spends family time with his wife Kelly and their kids. The loving tribute to Kelly is resonating with fans too as it catapults into the Top 20 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase / Country Aircheck charts this week. Co-written alongside Mitch Oglesby, Jamie Paulin ad Matt Roy, “Done” has earned praise for its “stately tempo, expressive vocal, rolling-similes lyric, swirling production and emotional heft” (MusicRow).

“This song has always been special to me, but its message of love and commitment feels more real than ever after spending several months social distancing together with my family,” Janson said. “We’ve even been living at the home where we filmed the music video! It’s a silver lining to have had this time to reflect on how grateful we all are to have each other. I’m excited that fans have been able to relate to ‘Done’ and proud that country radio has embraced it.”

Described as “rich and full of depth” (Rolling Stone), “Done” was most-added upon impact at country radio. Its family-centric music video has also connected with fans, boasting more than five million views (watch HERE). Janson has performed “Done” on both The Kelly Clarkson Show (watch HERE) and TODAY. The “standout” (The Tennessean) track follows No. 1 smash “Good Vibes” from his 2019 album Real Friends. The Gold-certified single continues to be a favorite as it tops 100 million on-demand streams.

Janson is working on new music as he continues to spend time with the people who make him stop and say “Done.” As a Bass Pro Shop ambassador, he encourages families to explore the great outdoors together. He, along with his son and amateur angler Jesse, is currently supporting the “Gone Fishing” initiative, which is “challenging families everywhere to get off the couch and discover the fun of fishing this summer.” Bass Pro Shops is donating more than 55,000 rods and reels to nonprofit youth organization nationwide to help get more kids outside.
