Mitch Rossell

Singer/Songwriter Mitch Rossell is debuting the official music video for “American Dream,” in an exclusive 24-hour, worldwide premiere with today. Co-directed by Rossell and Austin Peckham, the video embraces blue-collar, working-class roots, and portrays a family working hard to support each other to keep their American dream alive.

“There’s nothing like putting in the time and the work, and seeing your dreams come true right before your eyes. I thank God everyday for my right to pursue my dreams, and even more than that, for my children’s right to pursue theirs. I hope this song gives people something unifying to cling to in such a divisive time,” shared Rossell.

“American Dream” was co-written by Rossell and Dave Turnbull and is available across DSPs today. Listen to “American Dream,” here:

“American Dream” follows Rossell’s independently released songs “All I Need To See” and “Ask Me How I Know,” which have garnered an impressive 7.5 Million combined streams on Spotify. Rossell’s solely-penned song “Ask Me How I Know” was recorded by the legendary Garth Brooks, and hit the top of the Billboard Country Airplay charts, marking Brooks’ first No. 1 since 2007, with the artist calling Rossell’s work “…some of the best lyrics and melodies you’ve ever heard…”

Blazing a trail as one of Nashville’s brightest up-and-coming singer/songwriters, Rossell’s career was set into overdrive following his move to Nashville nearly a decade ago. Since then, his songs have been recorded by some of Country music’s biggest stars including Garth Brooks (“Ask Me How I Know”), Garth Brooks ft. Blake Shelton (“Dive Bar”) and Brooks’ Billboard Top 10 “All Day Long.” In 2016, Brooks invited Rossell to open his record-setting World Tour. With just an acoustic guitar, Rossell took the stage night after night, winning over thousands of new fans and receiving standing ovations for previously unheard original material.

The East Tennessee native is signed to Wrensong Publishing, and was named in the Academy of Country Music’s Top 15 Rising Artists. His co-penned song, “Dive Bar” was named in The Tennessean’s list of Nashville’s Best Songs of 2019 and his story has been featured by Music RowPeople.comWide Open Country and Rossell is currently in the studio working on new music.
