Big Machine Label Group Announces Tim McGraw’s Return

Big Machine Label Group President & CEO Scott Borchetta announced today the return of Country music icon TIM MCGRAW to its flagship imprint Big Machine Records at the close of Country Radio Seminar (CRS) week. BMLG showcased highly-acclaimed superstars and head-turning newcomers at the Omni Hotel in Nashville. Guests at the annual luncheon were treated to memorable performances earlier this afternoon (2/21) from the diverse roster of talent – FLORIDA GEORGIA LINELADY ANTEBELLUMDANIELLE BRADBERYPAYTON SMITH and AVENUE BEAT.
 
Borchetta invited the room to explore new music and celebrate career milestones they helped create alongside imprint leaders JIMMY HARNEN (BMLG Records President/CEO), GEORGE BRINER (The Valory Music Co. President) and CLAY HUNNICUTT (Big Machine Records GM).
 
Global entertainers FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE kicked off the performances with an energized set including 11X-PLATINUM breakout “Cruise,” record-breaking “Meant to Be,” and other smashes “Round Here,” “Blessings” and “Simple.” Pandora also honored the duo with the Billionaire plaque backstage prior to their performance, congratulating them for their 5.6 billion streams on the platform.
 
CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2020 inductees AVENUE BEAT showcased their harmonies with songs from their self-titled EP (The Valory Music Co.). The trio performed “Delight” and “Ruin That For Me,” which impacts Country radio March 23.
 
Multi-instrumental newcomer PAYTON SMITH amplified the afternoon with his guitar-slinging and songwriting on full display as he performed music from his debut self-titled EP. Payton powered through “Can’t Go Wrong With That,” “What It Meant To Lose You,” “’92” and lead single “Like I Knew You Would,” which impacts Country radio March 9. He will take the stage tomorrow night at the Grand Ole Opry for the first time.
 
BMLG Records’ vocal powerhouse DANIELLE BRADBERY premiered two new songs with the nostalgic “Girls In My Hometown,” written by Nicolle Galyon and Emily Weisband, and emotive ballad “Never Have I Ever.” She will release more new music later this year.
 
Seven-time GRAMMY®-winning trio LADY ANTEBELLUM closed the afternoon with a touching set. The group received a standing ovation for their GOLD-certified heartbreaker “What If I Never Get Over You” and self-reflective “Be Patient With My Love.” Lady A also performed their new BMLG Records single “What I’m Leaving For,” plus fan favorites “Love Don’t Live Here” and “Bartender.”
