Luke Bryan Honors His Late Niece With Touching National Anthem Performance

Last week (2/13) it was “Hockey Has Heart Congenital Defect Awareness Night” at Bridgestone Arena for the Nashville Predators game against the New York Islanders. Luke Bryan gave a very special performance of the National Anthem before the game began. He sang in honor of his late niece, who died at seven months of age due to complications of Congenital Heart Disease. 

With an arena packed full of fans, Luke walked out on to the ice where he sang alongside two young CHD patients. According to the Tennessean, there were more than 200 people in the audience who have also been affected by the disease.
