Steve Wariner Graces Cover of Vintage Guitar March Issue

Steve Wariner

Four-time GRAMMY® winner and singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, Steve Wariner, has infused more than four decades of pickin’ and guitar slingin’ into his very own Gretsch® appropriately titled, G6120T Steve Wariner Signature Nashville® Gentleman, and now the esteemed Vintage Guitar Magazine is commending the music legend’s career and new guitar with Wariner on the March cover. Photographer David Abbott captured the image of Steve with his Gretsch® Nashville® Gentleman during a recent shoot at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.

“Well, I’m blown away to be on the cover of Vintage Guitar Magazine! Thanks to all at VG for letting me tell my story and talk about my new signature model Gretsch! I’m a grateful guitar slinger!” Wariner shared.

Wariner, who was recently inducted into the prestigious Musicians Hall of Fame, is one of only five guitar players in the world to be given the “Certified Guitar Player” (CGP) award by Chet Atkins. Throughout his illustrious career, Wariner has been inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, the National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame and the Music City Walk of Fame.
