Jason Aldean

ACM “Artist of the Decade” Jason Aldean earns his sixth consecutive No. One debut on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart this week with his new effort 9 (Macon Music/Broken Bow Records), moving over 83,000 units in total consumption. His ninth studio album tracked the most physical sales this week while landing at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top 200 all-genre chart as all 16-tracks are “quintessential Aldean,” (Rolling Stone). Notably, all eight of Aldean’s previous studio albums have been certified Gold or Platinum by the RIAA. Following 23 chart-toppers, the project’s lead single “We Back” continues to climb the Top 10 at Country radio after national television performances of the propulsive track on Good Morning America and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Following his own time-tested formula for nearly 15 years while bolstering 15 billion streams and more than 18 million albums sold, Aldean continues to make modern albums with an old-school soul that critics admire. Before 9’s anticipated release Aldean landed on notable lists including BillboardEntertainment Weekly and New York Times “Most Anticipated Albums of Fall” and now reviews of affirmation prove 9 “showcases Aldean at peak swagger,” (Rolling Stone).

“Aldean’s latest is an ambitious set that blends hard-charging anthems like the lead single ‘We Back’ with good-natured drinking songs, salutes to rural living, tender love songs and pensive explorations on life.” – Billboard

Even as the music industry moves more and more to a singles-driven approach, Aldean still sees the value in a full 16-song album…his style of arena Country rock.” – Associated Press

“Aldean pays homage to the arena-ready country-rock that built his career (‘We Back,’ ‘Dirt We Were Raised On,’ ‘Tattoos and Tequila’), embraces pop-leaning production (‘Got What I Got,’ ‘Keeping It Small Town’) and country storytelling (‘I Don’t Drink Anymore’).” – USA Today

“Hard-strumming tales of heartbreak, small towns, good ol’ boys and boots that are far from spotless.” – New York Times

“The new album seems to cover where we last left off on REARVIEW TOWN.” – Entertainment Tonight

After closing out his 2019 headlining run, the three-time ACM “Entertainer of the Year” returns to Las Vegas this week (Dec. 6-8) for JASON ALDEAN: RIDE ALL NIGHT VEGAS at Park Theater at Park MGM. In January, Aldean will launch the winter leg of the 2020 WE BACK TOUR with special guests Morgan Wallen, Riley Green and Dee Jay Silver. For more information visit www.JasonAldean.com.
