The Country Music Association’s critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series will return to Belfast in Northern Ireland, and London this March with performances at Panarts Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival Wednesday, March, 11 at The Empire Music Hall and Country to Country Festival, London on Thursday, March 12, at indigo at The O2.
The Belfast performance will feature songwriting trio Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Liz Rose, while the C2C London date will also include Jaren Johnston (of The Cadillac Three) and Niko Moon. Accompanying Rose on guitar for both dates will be Australian hit songwriter Phil Barton.
CMA Songwriters Series introduces artists and songwriters to audiences all over the world through its intimate storytelling format. Audiences get to know the performers, their journeys and the stories behind their songs throughout the two-hour seated show, as artists take turns performing their songs acoustically. Each CMA Songwriters Series is unique—the one-off performances are unrehearsed, uplifting and heartwarming, leaving audiences feeling closer to the artists and the music.
The CMA Songwriters Series has been part of the C2C weekend in London since 2014 and has given artists including Jimmie Allen, Brandy Clark, Luke Combs, Travis Denning and Maren Morris their first U.K. performances. This year the CMA Songwriters Series at C2C is excited to introduce audiences to new Nashville artist, Moon. This will be the fourth year CMA has presented the series as part of the Belfast Songwriters Festival.
