CMT Taps Hawaiian Powerhouse JoLivi As ‘Next Up Now’ Feature Artist

CMT taps Hawaiian pop/country powerhouse JoLivi as a “CMT Next Up Now” feature artist. The new digital franchise is highlighting JoLivi’s “Better” music video on CMT.com as well as CMT’s Twitter and Facebook platforms this week. The “Better” music video was directed by Pat Barazza and features JoLivi, “strutting around Nashville’s famous Printer’s Alley in the wake of an unexpected breakup, and putting the theme of her getting-over-him anthem into action (Sounds Like Nashville).”

JoLivi tells CMT, “This song is about the end of a relationship leaving you in a better place than you were before, so we wanted the video to be fun and light and just cruising around my favorite city, Nashville!”

The ‘vibrant’ (Taste of Country) vocalist is celebrating the release of “Better” and her most recent single, “Stuck.” Produced by industry vet Johnny Garcia (Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks), the tracks have collectively garnered more than 280K streams on Spotify while being featured on premiere playlists Wild Country, New Music Nashville, Next from Nashville and Pop-Co. The “Better” music video made its exclusive premiere with Sounds Like Nashville and is also in rotation on The Country Network.

As an ‘artist to watch’ (Taste of Country), JoLivi is currently in the studio recording more new music due out this fall.
