Tyler Childers Confirms Four-Night “Country Squire Residency” at Nashville’s Historic Ryman Auditorium

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Tyler Childers will make his headline debut at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium with four special shows next year: February 6 (with special guest TBA), February 7 (with special guest TBA), February 15 (with special guest Larry Cordle) and February 16 (with special guest Daughter of Swords). Tickets for the “Country Squire Residency” are available for pre-sale starting tomorrow, August 20 at 10:00am CT with public on-sale following this Friday, August 23 at 10:00am CT via www.ryman.com

These performances celebrate Childers critically acclaimed new album, Country Squire, which debuted earlier this month at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with over 32,000 equivalent units sold. Released on Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records, the album was produced by Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson and recorded TheButcher Shoppe in Nashville. Stream/purchase HERE.

Prior to his Ryman residency, Childers will embark on his extensive “Country Squire Run” headlining tour this fall including stops at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern, Brooklyn’s Brooklyn Steel (two nights), Boston’s House of Blues, Washington D.C.’s The Anthem, Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, Minneapolis’ First Avenue (two nights), Atlanta’s The Tabernacle and Philadelphia’s The Fillmore among several others. Of the mission behind the album, Childers comments, “I hope that people in the area that I grew up in find something they can relate to. I hope that I’m doing my people justice and I hope that maybe someone from somewhere else can get a glimpse of the life of a Kentucky boy.”

In addition to Childers (vocals, acoustic guitar), the album features a number of world-renowned musicians including Stuart Duncan (fiddle, mandolin, banjo), Miles Miller(drums, background vocals) and Russ Pahl (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, pedal steel, Jaw harp, baritone).
