Brent Cobb Unveils “Come Home Soon Series”

Brent Cobb

Grammy nominated musician Brent Cobb has today released the first of a three-part video series filmed and recorded live in his native South Georgia titled, “COME HOME SOON.”  Chapter 1 features an acoustic version of the track “Come Home Soon” from his critically acclaimed album PROVIDENCE CANYON, and gives an intimate view of Cobb’s home state.  Watch HERE.  Chapters 2 and 3 will follow in the coming weeks.

Cobb said: “The ‘Come Home Soon’ series is my continued love letter to Georgia. I come and go but it stays the same. It’s as constant as the Flint River. I trust it to keep my family safe while I’m gone and to help raise my children right. [Director] Chris [Phelps] stayed on me about locations for different scenes. He couldn’t understand that everywhere down there is the perfect shot. You really can’t mess it up. The moment he pulled up, he got it. Then he made it into a beautiful short movie.  We wanted to capture the warmth and spirit of not only the area but also of the people. There’s a real light down there. I believe this series lets folks see it the way I do.”

The launch of the video series coincides with Cobb’s latest leg of his “Sucker For a Good Time Tour,” which resumed last week.  Between his headline dates and festival stops, Cobb will also continue his extensive run as part of “Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show.”  Full itinerary attached below. Cobb’s latest album, PROVIDENCE CANYON, was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, and available now via Low Country Sound/Elektra Records. Garnering universal acclaim, the album follows his 2016 major label debut, SHINE ON A RAINY DAY, which was nominated for Best Americana Album at the 60thGRAMMY Awards. Cobb was also nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2017 Americana Honors & Awards and has made national television appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and CONAN.

Cobb was born in Americus, Georgia, about an hour east of Columbus, in the rural south-central part of the state. In addition to his work as an artist, Cobb is widely respected as a songwriter garnering cuts by Lee Ann Womack, Luke Bryan, The Oak Ridge Boys, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert and more.
