Tori Martin

Country Singer-Songwriter, Tori Martin has a lot to celebrate as she releases her new single,  “Living the Dream” from her forthcoming album. The song is available now through all streaming platforms and digital retailers. Listen here

The track, co-written with Lyndsey Highlander and produced by Jake Saghi, is intended to inspire listeners to follow their dreams. “’Living the Dream’ is an anthem for dreamers. We may face many “no’s” and closed doors, but we never give up. We chase after what we love with everything we’ve got.” Martin added, “I’ve pursued music for nearly 10 years and wrote this song when I first moved to Nashville. It will always be special to me and I hope it inspires others to fight for their dreams!” A video of the song was filmed last week in various locations of middle Tennessee and North Carolina and will be released on July 4th.

As if this isn’t exciting enough, recently Martin had her image to appear on a NASCAR racecar in two NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races at Iowa Speedway and at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway near St. Louis.  The #10 Chevrolet is owned and driven by Jennifer Jo Cobb, a long-time NASCAR driver who, like Tori, had a big dream as a little girl and worked hard to make her dreams come true.  Cobb and young karting racer Delana Hodge appear in the “Living The Dream” music video.

Martin is genuine and real. She is passionate about her music and her enthusiasm for life and million-dollar smile is infectious. She is full of personality and is a natural on stage! Martin’s warm, powerful voice brings energy to every performance.

The Texas-native moved to Nashville in 2017 to follow her musical dreams and continues to tour across the country. She has already achieved success on the Texas Country charts. Her songs “From Here to There” (#22), “Done Deal” (#19), and “Woman Up” (#20) are all loved amongst her fans.

Growing up in Azle, Texas, the 24-year-old has always had a passion for music. She began singing in church as a child and was heavily influenced by her country music-loving Paw-Paw, who bought Martin her first guitar. Growing up on classics like Johnny Cash and Tammy Wynette, “Stand by Your Man” was the first song she learned to sing and at age 14, she began performing at opry houses around Texas. She recorded her first EP, Falling Straight Up in Nashville at age 16 and played her first headlining concert that same year.

Noting Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, and Stevie Nicks as her musical inspirations, Martin has become known for her powerhouse vocals and sincere songwriting. In 2014, she was named one of the “New Faces of Country” by Renegade Radio Nashville and was a contestant on Season 14 of American Idol. The following year, she was nominated for “New Female Vocalist of the Year” at the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards. She also performed at Taste of Addison, headlined by Granger Smith, in 2017. “My greatest dream is to share what I love to do with the world, and that’s to sing and make music! I love to be on stage and connect with my fans. To me, that’s home,” commented Martin.

Martin currently co-hosts the “Music Biz Besties Songwriter’s Series” at Just Love Coffee in Nashville.  Additional tour dates to be announced soon.
