Nashville’s The Big 98 Announces “Songs & Stories for St. Jude”

iHeart Media Communities, the community engagement brand of iHeart Media, and The BIG 98, Nashville’s #1 for New Country, today announced the Seventh Annual “Songs & Stories for St. Jude”, a live “in the round” style concert and auction to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Big 98 will host the event on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 3rd & Lindsley.  Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the opening performance will take the stage at 7:00 p.m.

Concert attendees will experience a special performance from seven award winning and critically acclaimed songwriters such as Josh Osborne, Lee Miller, Ashley Gorley, Wendell Mobley, Nicolle Galyon, Rodney Clawson and a “surprise” guest. Writers will share personal experiences and stories behind country music’s biggest hits in an effort to support cancer research and families with children undergoing treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A silent auction will accompany the evening’s festivities featuring autographed memorabilia, items donated by Country artists and exclusive Country music experiences.

Midday host and co-captain of Team BIG 98’s Amy Paige will host the event on Tuesday April 16, 2019 at 3rd & Lindsley. She says,

“I couldn’t be more proud of this event and Team BIG 98. Songs and Stories is an exchange of gifts. The writers share their gift of storytelling. There’s an entire room filled with people who couldn’t be more grateful to be there and listen. And, the best part? Families at St Jude receive free treatment, along with the gift of hope, that one day our children will live in a world free of cancer. It’s seriously one big hug.”

Tickets are $20 -$25.  3rd & Lindsley is located at 818 3rd Ave S, Nashville, TN 37210.
