Raleigh Keegan Releases Stunning Cover of “Piano Man”

“I made it a mission of mine to cover “Piano Man” because it’s my Dad’s favorite song for me to play,” Keegan tells Celeb Secrets Country. “When I was a kid, my parents drove all the way to Michigan from Ohio to pick up a free piano for me so I could learn how to play. When I go home for the holidays, my Dad always requests me to play “Piano Man” so he can sing it with me – just a little loud and out of key.”

J.K. Rowling once shared that “rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.” The same certainly goes for self-made singer/songwriter Raleigh Keegan, who was born behind bars while his mother was doing time for drug abuse. At only a few days old, Keegan began his life in Cincinnati with a new family. He went on to play college football at Georgetown College in Kentucky, where he received his Exercise Science degree earning him a career as a personal trainer. It was one of his musical inspirations, Zac Brown Band, who helped him quickly realize he was meant for a different path in life, and quite the musical one at that. Keegan quit his job and sold his house to pay for his record and make the move to Nashville to pursue his passion of songwriting. In 2018 alone he’s released his debut EP One of These Days, played over 150 shows across the country including Wall Street, created himself a massive fan base and keeps the mindset of “if you want something bad enough, you’ll figure out how to do it.” Recently named one of Nashville Lifestyles’ “Most Beautiful People,” Keegan is currently finishing new music in the studio with GRAMMY Award-winner Ryan Gore (Kacey Musgraves, Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi). The trailblazer plans to spend his spring and summer with a busy tour schedule allowing him to embrace fans across the country, turning heads and tugging on heartstrings along the way.
