Kacey Musgraves Goes 4 for 4 at 2019 GRAMMY Awards

Kacey Musgraves shined a light on country music in a BIG WAY last night at the GRAMMY Awards when her album Golden Hour won the biggest award of the night taking home Album of the Year. This is the first time in a decade that a country album has won in this category.

“I would have nothing without songs to me. It’s just all about the songs,” Kacey said.

The last country album to win the GRAMMY for Album of the Year was Fearless by Taylor Swift in 2009.

Kacey took home GRAMMY’s for Album of the Year, Best Country Album, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. Last nights wins make Kacey a 6 time GRAMMY winner.

I think it’s about time country radio starts paying attention to Kacey Musgraves!
