GRAMMY nominees Florida Georgia Line are featured on the cover of Billboard’s “The Year in Music 2018” issue on stands now.

Spotlighting “2018’s unlikeliest hitmaking team” (Billboard), “Meant to Be” collaborators FGL and Bebe Rexha teamed up to take Billboard on a wild ride of indoor go-karting, as they reflected back on the history-making journey of their now GRAMMY-nominated monster hit. After ruling the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for an unprecedented 50 weeks straight and stacking several year-end accolades, they’ll next vie for the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category at the 61st GRAMMY Awards (airs live on 2/10/19 on CBS).

This past Tuesday (12/11), the powerhouse duo dropped the curtain on their limited residency, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Leaving their mark on the iconic Strip, FGL served-up five anything-goes shows with a supercharged setlist full of brand new tracks – like “Colorado,” “Simple,” and their chart-rising steamy single “Talk You Out of It” – from their much-anticipated fourth studio album, CAN’T SAY I AIN’T COUNTRY, on BMLG Records (expected 2/15/19). With CANAAN SMITH and MASON RAMSEY getting the party started nightly, special guests including NICK CARTER (Backstreet Boys), NELLY, and HARDY, also made surprise appearances.

Mayor Carolyn Goodman also declared December 11, 2018, “Florida Georgia Line Day,” at Las Vegas’ City Hall. Proclaimed in commemoration of their celebrated residency, she applauded the global entertainers for their colossal career as bona fide trailblazers. Calling FGL “the perfect fit for Las Vegas,” Mayor Goodman further praised, “You do things your own way and you make your own success and that’s what Vegas is all about – entertainment, excitement, and doing it your own way.”

Capping 2018 in style, FGL will count down until midnight from the Allstate® Fan Fest in New Orleans, LA, as they perform live during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2019 on ABC. The 3rd annual Central Time Zone year-end bash is hosted by Lucy Hale and begins at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on December 31.
