Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and More Are Helping Music Heal With Special Merch From Musicians On Call

Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, is teaming up with recording artists across multiple music genres for its annual Music Heals holiday merch campaign. Florida Georgia Line, Peter Frampton, Lady Antebellum, Rodney Atkins, Echosmith, Michael Ray, Chase Rice, Mitchell Tenpenny, Caitlyn Smith and Bailey Bryan have joined the cause as this year’s Music Heals Ambassadors. All proceeds will benefit MOC’s programs that deliver the healing power of music in healthcare facilities across the country.

Through their partnership with MOC, each artist is selecting an exclusive, limited edition “Music Heals” T-shirt for the 2018 holiday season. Fans will be able to purchase these designs on Musicians On Call’s website.

“Last year’s Music Heals campaign was a great success for Musicians On Call and a unique way for music artists to use their creativity to celebrate the holiday season while bringing the healing power of music to patients in healthcare facilities around the country,” said Musicians On Call President Pete Griffin.

For every $500 raised through the campaign, Musicians On Call will be able to bring live music to a hospital room every week for a year through its Bedside Performance Program. With this program, Volunteer Guides and Volunteer Musicians go room to room to play for patients at their bedsides. These one-on-one interactions between musician and patient have a powerful effect of restoring normalcy, sharing joy and even bringing medical benefits. Since 1999, Musicians On Call has delivered the healing power of music to more than 675,000 individuals nationwide.
