Toby Keith Celebrates “Cowboy” 25th With New Music Video

“I feel the need to get western on y’all,” singer, songwriter and entertainer Toby Keith says from the stage in the first shot of his new video. “We’re gonna do you a little campfire song here.” Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the song that started it all, a new video for “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” debuted over the weekend.

Appropriately, the clip features images from dozens of live performances – many of them at forward operating bases Keith visited on his 11 USO Tours which total more than 285 events that reached nearly 256,000 troops and military families. The video advances the November 30 release of Toby Keith – Should’ve Been A Cowboy [25th Anniversary Edition], an expanded re-release of Keith’s self-titled debut. Pre-orders are already underway Digital pre-order purchases include the latest instant gratification track, “I’ll Still Call You Baby,” which has just been made available today as well as the previously released title track, both re-mastered for this special anniversary release.

Next month, Toby will perform two shows at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on December 7. The following night, he will also perform at the Nashville Symphony’s 34th Annual Symphony Ball where he will be honored with their 2018 Harmony Award which recognizes an individual who exemplifies the harmonious spirit of Nashville’s musical community. Also on the slate are more video releases for the biggest hits from Keith’s debut album. Re-mastered videos for “A Little Less Talk And A Lot More Action,” “He Ain’t Worth Missing” and “Wish I Didn’t Know Now” will be out the same day as the album, Nov. 30.
