Brett Eldredge Will Ring in the Holiday Season with “Glow” Deluxe Edition

Brett Eldredge

Summer may have ended only a few weeks ago, but country music star Brett Eldredge has been living in his own winter wonderland all year round in preparation for the upcoming deluxe edition of Glow, announced today and due October 26. Recorded once again at Avatar Studios in New York, the critically acclaimed collection of holiday tunes gets an upgrade with five additional tracks (full listing below) and a brand new look. Fans can pre-order the album on Friday, October 12.

“I love Christmas music more than just about anything in the world,” said Eldredge. “The (sleigh) ride Glow has taken me on has been so much fun, so now we’ve decided to make it deluxe! We’re also touring with these holiday songs in some of the most magical Christmas cities in North America. I can’t wait!”

Glow earned widespread praise from critics upon its initial release in 2016 with Entertainment Weekly calling it “a brassy romantic collection with bold big-band arrangements.” People detailed Eldredge’s “rich, pliant voice” and praised his version of “The First Noel,” describing the song as “123 seconds of transcendent Christmas bliss that will make you wonder why the man even needs a band.” Listeners agreed with the sentiment; Eldredge’s duet of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with GRAMMY-winner Meghan Trainor hit No. 1 on both the Adult Contemporary and Holiday Music charts.

The powerhouse vocalist has treated growing crowds in Music City to special holiday performances for the past four years, but in 2018 he’s spreading the Christmas cheer far and wide. Eldredge will start a five-date run in Windsor, Canada before hitting Chicago, New York and double-header shows in Nashville (see dates and on-sale information below).

Those eager for more Eldredge can check out the Platinum-selling country music star and his popular pup Edgar in the recently released music video for his current single “Love Someone” (watch HERE). Directed by Jeff Venable and shot in the Nashville area, the video encapsulates the perfect day as imagined by man’s best friend. Fans can also catch Eldredge on the road for the remaining dates of his headlining The Long Way Tour alongside label mate Devin Dawson and newcomer Abby Anderson.
