Jake Owen Goes “Down to the Honkytonk” in Brand New Music Video

Multiple chart-topping Singer/Songwriter Jake Owen goes “Down To The Honkytonk” in the new music video for his latest tune, exclusively premiering on CMT, CMT Music, CMT.com and CMT socials today. Rallying fans, Owen took to the streets of downtown Nashville to film the free and easy, spirited walk through Music City’s world-famous Tootsies, its prominent back alley, and in between Broadway staples like the infamous party bike tours, a bride-to-be and bar patrons slinging their drinks back. Directed by Justin Clough and Ben Skipworth, the dream-like video showcases Owen’s fun side and versatile entertainment chops. The music video for

“I love going down to the Honkytonks in Nashville and around the country. It’s all about a place to have beers with friends, a place to listen to good country music and catch up on great stories. The video was so much fun to make and why not have fun, right?” said Owen.

“Down To The Honkytonk” claimed the most added at country radio the week of release and was featured on Sirius XM’s “The Highway.” With seven chart-topping songs to his name, “Down To The Honkytonk” is the follow up to Owen’s fastest-rising career #1 to date, “I Was Jack (You Were Diane).” He is currently in the studio working with award-winning producer Joey Moi, who produced some of his biggest hits to date including “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” “Alone with You” and “Beachin.”
