Rascal Flatts fans in Indiana are still a little bit confused after they say last night’s concert abruptly ended at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center.

Rascal Flatts released a statement via Twitter acknowledging there was a security concern:

“Indianapolis – Due to a security concern at the show last night, standard procedures were quickly executed and everyone was able to safely leave the building. The safety of our fans, band and crew is always the top priority for us, so we are so thankful for everyone who jumped into action and for your understanding. We will be back soon!”

Live Nation also issued a statement saying,

“Last night a safety concern presented itself during the Rascal Flatts’ concert in Noblesville. Venue staff and local officials followed standard protocols to ensure the safety of guests, the artist and staff. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the matter.”

It’s still unclear what exactly happened but Bryant Orem, a spokesperson for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, also released a statement:

“I cannot comment on an open investigation but will forward information as it becomes available to me.”

Unfortunately, fans were still left a little disappointed.

“Everyone boo’d,” concertgoer Britni Sherlock told the Indy Star about the announcement coming over the loudspeaker that the show was over. “We continued to wait in the pavilion, and that’s when security came up to everyone and told us to leave. I asked what was going on and he replied, ‘We were told to evacuate the pavilion immediately.’ ”

Based on what has happened in the past few years I am certain all of the correct measures were made to ensure fans, staff and the bands safety.  You can never be too careful.
