Continuing to prove its unyielding status as “the party of the summer,” Faster Horses Festival raced to yet another successful weekend in its sixth year. Taking place in Brooklyn, MI, fans enjoyed the unparalleled atmosphere and ever-evolving experience with The Toledo Blade declaring “Faster Horses continues to reinvent itself each year, morphing into a multidimensional entertainment event.”

Known by both fans and artists as a stand-out event with a special community vibe, this year’s “three-day hillbilly sleepover” kicked off on Friday with headliner Blake Shelton. Shelton took the stage following a short weather delay, upping the ante with an unforgettable performance “in passionate fashion,” (M Live) as he played an extended set to an unabating crowd.

Saturday saw country music’s most successful duo of all time, Brooks & Dunn’s, first debut together at the festival due to huge fan demand. Their highly-anticipated set “brought the Faster Horses Festival to a crescendo,” (Detroit Free Press) as the duo lit up the night playing their iconic hits.

With attendees “coming from far and wide to take in three days worth of entertainment,” (The Daily Telegram) Sunday closed on a high, with a full-energy show from Florida Georgia Line. In true Faster Horses fashion, fans also embraced all that the festival has to offer, including the Campsite Contest, DeeJay Silver’s Pancake Party, Faster Humans Fun Run, Hustle & Muscle Classic Car & Truck Show and more.

For the first time ever, in addition to a red-hot lineup of the genre’s most exciting artists including Jillian Jacqueline, Jon Langston and Charlie Worsham, the Next From Nashville stage welcomed “Songwriters Storyjam” with The Warren Brothers, J.T. Harding and Lee Thomas Miller. The festival’s second stage became one of the highlights of the weekend with the songwriters performing and sharing intimate insights into songs they had written including cuts by Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and more.
