Born into the bluegrass brawn of Kentucky, Carly Pearce has never known a moment that Country music wasn’t her destined path. At the young age of 11 she began touring with a local band, at 16 quit high school for a job performing at Dollywood while being homeschooled and learned humility working odd jobs upon moving to Nashville. Over the last year, Carly has defied odds with her No. 1 debut “Every Little Thing,” scoring a chart-topping trifecta on SiriusXM’s The Highway with subsequent hits “If My Name Was Whiskey” and current single “Hide The Wine.” With the GOLD-certified title track from her highly-acclaimed debut album EVERY LITTLE THING (Big Machine Records), Carly became the highest charting solo female debut since July 2015 and one of only three to accomplish the feat in twelve years.

Carly heads out with Blake Shelton’s COUNTRY MUSIC FREAKS, Thomas Rhett’s LIFE CHANGES, Rascal Flatts’ BACK TO US and Luke Bryan’s WHAT MAKES YOU COUNTRY (including stadium dates) tours throughout 2018. CMA Fest and CMA Foundation:  Each year, hundreds of Country artists perform at CMA Music Festival for free, and to show its appreciation for their dedication and time, CMA donates half the net proceeds from the event to benefit music education programs on behalf of the artists and celebrities.

The origins of the program began in 2001, when CMA Music Festival, then known as Fan Fair, moved to downtown Nashville for the first time. From 2001-2005, participating artists could select individual charities for donations and CMA contributed more than $800,000 to hundreds of worthy causes.

In 2006, the CMA Artist Relations Committee, led by Kix Brooks formerly of Brooks & Dunn, decided to channel those financial resources into a single cause – music education – through CMA’s “Keep the Music Playing” campaign to have a more meaningful impact in an area of importance to the entire music community. The CMA Foundation was launched in 2011 and currently gives to over 40 music education initiatives across the country.
