The Grand Ole Opry, the show that made country music famous and Trip Advisor’s top U.S. attraction for Spring 2017, celebrated NHL Western Conference Champions and hometown favorites the Nashville Predators to open tonight’s Opry performance. As the show’s big red curtain went up on the eve of Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, Predators mascot GNASH turned the shows’s iconic red barn Predators gold with the swing of his hockey stick. He then escorted onto the stage Opry member Jeannie Seely, who performed the first song of the night, the apropos “Catfish John.”

Among those bound for the Opry in the next week are Trace Adkins, Dustin Lynch, Oak Ridge Boys, Blake Shelton, and Carrie Underwood, to name just a few.
