Natalie Stovall, Maggie Rose and Savannah Conley on “Skyville Live Spotlight”

Skyville Live has announced the launch of its second series, “Skyville Live Spotlight,” bringing artists on the rise to the Skyville Live stage and putting them in front of a large online audience. Kicking off March 15 at Skyville Live’s Nashville studio, the inaugural show will feature up-and-coming artists Natalie Stovall, Maggie Rose and Savannah Conley. The ongoing series will fuel music discovery, spotlighting these buzzworthy artists on a stage that has welcomed icons including Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris and Gladys Knight.

We’ve been tremendously fortunate to welcome such amazing musical visionaries to the Skyville Live stage and to host some tremendous performances throughout the show’s history,” said Wally Wilson, creator of Skyville Live. “For every superstar, there are countless other gifted artists out there trying to make their mark. We think our ‘Spotlight’ series is going to be a great opportunity to showcase these singers and songwriters and give more people an opportunity to experience their talent.

Skyville Live’s traditional shows have not only won Emmy Awards, but have also developed a major fan base, seeing millions of views per episode. This base provides a great platform for the launch of the “Skyville Live Spotlight.”

Natalie Stovall and her band, The Drive, are relentless road warriors, amassing over 200 dates each year across college campuses, clubs, festivals and military bases around the world. A powerhouse vocalist, fiddle phenom and multi-instrumentalist, Stovall made her Grand Ole Opry debut at 12 years old and has performed everywhere from the White House to “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” Currently writing and recording for her 2017 release, she was named one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” and has recently been touring with Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots as a featured performer.

Maggie Rose has earned a loyal audience with her super-sized vocals and genre-spanning songwriting, establishing herself as the rare triple threat that can write, perform and produce a hit song. Rose has shared the stage with artists like Tim McGraw and Sheryl Crow, appeared at the Grand Ole Opry more than 30 times, scored an Emmy Award and received praise from outlets like Vogue, The New York Times and NPR. Her latest EP, “The Variety Show – Vol. 1,” was released in April 2016 and features songs that combine the exhilaration of hip-hop with the impact of ’80s rock and the rootsy, story-based stomp of country music. Rose is currently in the studio, working on a project that continues to display her evolving style, transcend norms and showcase her unique artistry and sonic and lyrical versatility.

Born and raised in Nashville, Savannah Conley is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter that has been influenced by country along with countless other genres. Her parents, both heavily involved in the music industry, never pushed her to follow in their footsteps, but her path was apparent from an early age. Recording for hire by the age of seven and writing frequently by age 11, she has already explored many different avenues of the music world.  After winning the John Lennon scholarship in 2016, Conley is excited to share new music with her newest record.

Unique and unexpected pairings will add to the growing list of once-in-a-lifetime collaborations delivered only by Skyville Live. From Lady Antebellum, Jason Isbell, Jewel, Brandy Clark and Amanda Shires bringing down the house with Kris Kristofferson on his classic “Me and Bobby McGee” to a stellar take on “Midnight Train to Georgia” with Gladys Knight, Martina McBride and Estelle to the impassioned performance of Steve Earle’s “Pilgrim” featuring the acclaimed songwriter alongside Emmylou Harris, Brothers Osborne, Margo Price and Colter Wall, Skyville Live continues to create music moments that are exclusive to its stage.
