Channer Smith, a 7-year-old patient at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, had quite a treat for Halloween. Smith got to sing “Life is a Highway” with Rascal Flatts.

The Flatts came to the hospital for their annual visit with patients, and to dedicate a new Surgical Center that is named for them. Rascal Flatts has donated millions to the Children’s Hospital over the years.
