Aaron Tippin, will perform at two Veteran appreciation events in the month of February. The first one will be the Salem Civic Center in Salem, VA as part of the Department of Veterans Affairs Salem VA Medical Center 2012 National Salute to Veterans on Thursday, February 9th at 7:00 p.m. The second will be on Monday, February, 13th at 7:30 p.m. at the largest stage west of Broadway, the (old MGM) the Grand Theatre at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV.
These concerts are a part of the annual weeklong National Salute to Veterans celebration, specifically connected to Valentine’s Day, and are an ideal opportunity for the community to express its respect and appreciation for all Veterans who have served and protected our great Nation.
Tippin has charted more than 30 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs including several Number Ones such as: “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong with the Radio,” “That’s as Close as I’ll Get to Loving You,” and “Kiss This.” Following September 11, 2001, he released the political composition “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly,” which became a theme for soldiers fighting overseas. The song was voted one of the country’s greatest patriotic songs by AOL.
Tickets for the Salem, VA show are available at the Salem Civic Center. Veterans, active military, and their families may obtain their FREE tickets at the Salem Civic Center Box Office (limit 10 tickets per person), Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10am-6pm and Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Tickets for the general public are available at the Salem Civic Center.
