Top Tweets of the Week – Week of August 21st

10. @BrettEldredge has been on the trip of a lifetime. These boots have been all over! “Its crazy where these boots will take me!”

9. There are also downsides to touring, however. @Jonesville (Jason Jones) experienced the difficulties of too little time at home this week. “I hate it when I have all this crap to do on my one day in town, and then suddenly out of nowhere, more crap comes along. Load of #crap.”

8. As much as I like to help others, this quote from @UncleKracker is very truthful. “Help a man in trouble and he will remember you when he is in trouble again.”

7. There are just no words for this tweet from @TrentTomlinson. “I just seen a guy who was 6’5 about 230 get into a Prius! Apparently he forgot to wear his t shirt that’s says “I sit down to pee””

6. Maybe this tweet from @BlakeShelton lead to tweet #5 from Miranda. “Holyshitballs!!!!!! Have y’all downloaded The Pistol Annies album yet?!!!!! This is unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Miranda Lambert's photo You guys sent Pistol Annies to #1 on @iTunesMusic! Thank you all for getting a copy of the album!
Miranda Lambert on WhoSay
5. @Miranda_Lambert “You guys sent Pistol Annies to #1 on @iTunesMusic! Thank you all for getting a copy of the album!”

4. I can’t believe @DannyGokey would push someone off of the cliff (well a virtual cliff) “My friends Facebook status said, “standing on the edge of a cliff :/”…so i poked him.”

3. @TaylorSwift13 has been on a whirlwind the last few years and last week she had some special guests to help her out in LA. “I couldn’t love LA crowds more. I can’t believe how awesome tonight was. And thank you @jason_mraz for singing “I’m Yours” with me!!”

2. I had only read the first part of @JayDeMarcus’ tweet and then I read the second part andwas on the floor laughing. “Mondays are a complete drag sometimes… And NOT the queen kind the more of the this day sucks kind…”

1. All you @DierksBentley congress members may have led to a problem. Maybe he can be in the same AA group as Blake Shelton – “to all our diehard fans of mine and the band, just want to let you know we are all out and drinking PATRON in your honor! #thehangover3”

10 Quick Quirky Questions with Steve Richard

Steve Richard’s musical journey has never been about labels. Even so, the sheer diversity of his accomplishments is impressive. A writer, singer, and entertainer of great versatility, he has built a resume that effortlessly spans styles and genres.

A dynamic performer, Steve has toured with rockers like Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Dickey Betts, and country greats Dierks Bentley, Montgomery Gentry, and Craig Morgan. Steve worked with both musical cross-pollinator John Rich and Kid Rock/Uncle Kracker producer Michael Bradford on his first album—which, to Steve’s surprise, found fans among the Christian music community.

It’s no surprise, that his latest album, Up To Somethin’, has appeal to music fans of every genre. Up To Somethin’ features two radio debuts, “Eighty Acre Church”, which speaks to rural core American values, and “Invisible Hand,” with a big chorus and lush harmonies. Both songs show a distinct sound and an artist at the top of his game when it comes to turning intimate moments into universal truths.

You can find out more about Steve and his music online at: www.steverichardmusic.com and http://www.facebook.com/steverichardmusic
