Keith Urban 2009 Tour

Country Girl just posted that Lady Antebellum is one of the opening acts listed for Keith Urban’s 2009 tour.  Well, straight from Keith’s fanclub, Monkeyville, Lady A will be one of many rockin acts!

Keith will hit the road again in 2009 with supporting acts including Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Dierks Bentley, Glen Campbell, Lady Antebellum, and The Zac Brown Band.  The upcoming tour, which will kick off in May, comes following the release of his as yet untitled, 5th studio recording.  The singer, who wowed fans and critics on his “Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour” during 2007-2008, is ready to deliver another pulse pounding NEW concert experience.  Tickets will go on sale early next year for the tour that will kick off in May and likely extend through the summer.”We intend to give people their money’s worth, for sure” said Urban.  “We’re looking forward to seeing fans’ reactions to the new material, and we’re seeing how we can put a few new twists on some older material.  We’ll play for as long as the venues will let us.”

This is incredibally GREAT news!!!! First, I love all the acts on the list.  Unfortunately, I doubt all the performers will be on the same night, so this means I’ll have to hit up at least 4 Keith shows.  Not that I’m complaining, I could watch Keith rip on his guitar night after night.  I am also totally excited to finally introduce Country Girl to Keith…Okay, not like personally, but like to his music and stuff.  I may also get a chance to win some brownie points.  My four year old is a HUGE Taylor Swift fan, and it just so happens that Keith is a big fan of adorable children.  He frequently pulls the youngings up on stage with him.  So, I may have to use my offspring as bait for a Keith Urban hug!

It’s gonna be a HOT summer!!!  Charles, Dierks, Keith. . . It doesn’t get much better that!  If you haven’t seen Keith in concert, you must go!!! You’ll get your money’s worth and then some!!!
