Keenan Cahill and The Oak Ridge Boys Debut “What’cha Gonna Do”

For the first time ever, Keenan’s going country – and Grand Ole Opry members The Oak Ridge Boys are along for the ride. In the catchy video for The Oak Ridge Boys, “What’cha Gonna Do” Keenan and the country stars lip synch, live at the Grand Ole Opry.

This is 16-year old Keenan’s first country music collaboration of any kind, and with The Oak Ridge Boys beside him, he’s making his country music debut with one of the genre’s most venerable acts.

This is a one-of-a-kind collaboration that’s not to be missed. True to the spirit of the song, Keenan’s video with The Oak Ridge Boys is fun, hilarious, and hugely entertaining.

Were the “Oak Ridge Boys” the Lady Antebellum Of Their Time?

Lady Antebellum may have the sizzle now. But Joe Bonsall of the Oak Ridge Boys tells the Associated Press that back in the late 1970s, the Oaks “were like the Lady Antebellum” of the time.  But admists “without the pretty girl.”

Bonsall recalls “the Oak Ridge Boys were having big country hit after big country hit.” They were on “big tours with Kenny Rogers” and Bonsall remembers they “were winning all the awards.” Then when they might have thought they couldn’t get any hotter, they did. They have “Elvira” to thank. Bonsall says “Elvira” “just became a monster, monster hit song,” taking the Oak Ridge Boys “from being a major country music act at the time to a household name.”

The group just released an album called “It’s Only Natural,” through Cracker Barrel stores. It has some previous hits and some new material.
