Taylor Swift is a a lot of different things to a lot of a different people. She is a country artist, she promotes beauty products, is an active role model for young girls and now she wants to pursue a more active acting career.
Taylor’s acting debut came in 2009 when she appeared in the TV drama “CSI” she also appeared in the 2012 film “Valentine’s Day” with then boyfriend Taylor Lautner. Most recently she was the voice of Audrey in The Lorax, although many wouldn’t really consider that acting. to many people.
Taylor admits,
“I’ve been reading scripts for about five years—just kind of under the radar, asking my agents to please send me everything that might be good. When I look at acting careers that I really admire, I see that it’s been a precise decision-making process for these people. They make decisions based on what they love and they do only the things that they are passionate about. They play only characters that they can’t stop thinking about.”
Taylor has a ton of things already swirling on her plate so this may have some fans asking, “What about the music?” Does she plan on giving up her country music career for an acting career? Personally, I don’t see Taylor walking away from her music spotlight any time soon but if we have learned anything about Taylor Swift in these short few years it is she works hard and gets what she wants.
