Sugarland Makes Dreams Come True for 11 Year Old Singer/Songwriter

Sugarland helped make a dream come true for 11-year old aspiring singer/songwriter Alana Springsteen on Thursday night.

Alana and her family have been making trips to Nashville, to meet with artists and executives in the music business, for sometime now and made the acquaintance of Kristian Bush who invited her  and her family to their show Thursday night and then to sing on stage with the Duo during their  In Your Hands Tour.

“He said you have the opportunity to sing ‘Baby Girl’ with us, are you ready? And I said yes! I’m totally ready,” Alana said.

Alana’s parents, David and Shannon, watched in disbelief, as their young daughter fearlessly rocked the crowd.

“As soon as the first verse got done it was like, ‘I got this stage!’,” David said. “She was walking around, flipping her hair, and I was like, ‘what is going on?’,” he said.

Check out Alana rockin’ out to “Baby Girl” with Sugarland!  I got goosebumps watching the video!  What an amazing experience for her!  Don’t forget to check out http://www.sugarlandmusic.com/events to find out if the In Your Hands Tour is coming to a city near you!

Blake-Shelton-

Blake Shelton will take the stage at this year’s Indiana State Fair. But the concert will be at a new location following last year’s tragedy. Seven people were killed and dozens injured when high winds toppled the stage rigging prior to Sugarland’s performance last August 13th.

This year’s concert series has been moved to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Shelton is scheduled to perform on August 17th. Other artists announced include Barry Manilow, Train, Journey and Pat Benatar.
