Taylor Swift Appreciates Steve Nicks’ Thoughts

We told you last week that Stevie Nicks told Time Magazine she has nothing but love for Taylor Swift. And it seems Taylor is thrilled with the comments she made.

Taylor says she “could not believe how wonderful and sweet and heartfelt her essay was.” She says it made her day to “feel so special,” especially since Stevie has been her “hero for so long.”

Stevie told Time Magazine: “Taylor is writing for the universal woman and for the man who wants to know her. The female rock-’n'-roll-country-pop songwriter is back, and her name is Taylor Swift. And it’s women like her who are going to save the music business.”

Taylor is spending this summer putting the finishing touches on a new album she says plans on getting in the studio and recording the last couple songs.

Despite a Less Than Stellar Grammy Performance Stevie Nicks Has Love for Taylor Swift

Despite a not so stellar performance at the Grammys by Taylor Swift , her singing partner Stevie Nicks has only good things to say.

Time asked Stevie Nicks for her comments since the magazine has named Taylor one of the world’s 100 most influential people.   Stevie  says Taylor reminds her of herself “in her determination and her childlike nature.”

Stevie also stated Taylor ”sings, she writes, she performs, she plays great guitar. Taylor can do ballads that could be considered pop or rock and then switch back into country.”

Stevie says when she turned 20 years old, she’d “just made the serious decision to never be a dental assistant. Taylor just turned 20, and she’s won four Grammys.”  Stevie says she still walks “around singing her song ‘Today Was a Fairytale.”‘
