Kenny Chesney’s New Album Cover Revealed

Kenny Chesney’s latest album, Hemingway’s Whiskey hits stores on September 28th.  Supposedly this album is different for him and will set the tone for his future endeavors.  I’m curious to hear what’s on the inside, since the outside is void of any typical Kenny Chesney artwork (ie: sun and sand).

Kenny Chesney’s CMT Crossroads with the Steve Miller Band will air on July 9th.  Take a look at the preview here.  Country Girl and Peggy Sue attended the Crossroads taping, and they said it was “something.”

Kenny Chesney & Steve Miller Band Crossroads to Air in July

Kenny Chesney returns to CMT Crossroads to share the stage with one of his musical influences, rock icon Steve Miller, in the latest episode of the hit CMT series. CMT Crossroads: The Steve Miller Band and Kenny Chesney premieres Friday, July 9th on CMT.

The two join forces to perform each other’s songs and swap stories for what promises to be another landmark episode of CMT Crossraods. Featured in the hour-long episode are Chesney’s hits “Living In Fast Forward” and “I Go Back,” along with the Steve Miller Band classics “The Joker” and “Abracadabra.” Chesney is making his second appearance on the series; his first was October 2003’s pairing with heartland rocker John Mellencamp.

Kenny Chesney and Steve Miller “Went Out Last Night”

Last night in Nashville was one of those nights where you want to kick yourself in the butt if you didn’t head down to Broadway and walk through the door at Tootsies.  It was something  you could not have planned for but for those who were lucky enough to be downtown on a Tuesday night got a real treat!

While Kenny Chesney and Steve Miller Band were taping their CMT Crossroads show at the Ryman last night, Steve Miller told Kenny he had never been to Tootsies before and suggested they head down there after show. Kenny looked a bit surprised but was certainly up for the party and invited everyone in attendance down to the “after party”.

Not disappointing fans Kenny and Steve walked through the doors at Tooties around 11:30pm. The packed house sang along to Steve Miller Band favorites like “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Keep On Rockin’ Me Baby,” “Jet Airliner,” and “Abracadabra,” among others. Kenny then led the crowd in singing happy birthday to Tootsie’s, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

A special thanks to Darrell for sending us his YouTube video from last night!
