Shameless Plug for My Cousin Cory Williams: Join Us at Hardrock Cafe on Sept. 5th for Great Music!

We don’t do this often but this is a SHAMELESS plug for my cousin Cory Williams who will be playing at the Nashville Hardrock Cafe next month.  He is extremely talented and I hope you can come out to support him and Ladymoon on Monday, September 5th.

A singer songwriter hailing from the Midwest state of Indiana, Cory Williams has always been infatuated with lyrics that made his mind wander. At a young age, he was fascinated with his father’s record collection. Of the extensive musical collection, Cory had a great appreciation for such artists as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and Bob Marley to name a few. While the styles of the music varied, the lyrics always made Cory do what he does best- envision ideas about what could be and what’s to come.

Cory started toying around with a guitar at the early age of 10, but began to really hone in on his skills when he was 18. He continued listening to the singer-songwriter genre music he first heard as a child, as well as new musical influences such as Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, etc. These bands added musical fuel to his fire, inspiring him to write music and play guitar on another level outside of his basement.

Cory has shared the stage with Sister Hazel, NEEDTOBREATHE, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Gin Blossoms, TR3 (Tim Reynolds), Shawn Mullins, Carbon Leaf, Jon McGlaughlin, Ingram Hill to name a few.
