Robert Pattinson & Reese Witherspoon will Present at ACMs

Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars have signed-on to present at this years ACM Awards in Las Vegas. American’s sweet heart and Nashville native Reese Witherspoon and our favorite sparkly vampire Robert Pattinson will present this year. The two will heat-up the big screen in April in the film Water for Elephants adapted from the novel of the same name (a fabulous read if you need something to do).

Robert and Reese join the already long list of celebs attending, performing, and presenting at this year’s ACMS which include; Nancy O’Dell, Ryan Seacrest, Alabama, Dierks Bentley, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band with James Taylor, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.

The 2011 ACM Awards air on April 3rd LIVE from Las Vegas on CBS.

SPOILER: Teen Choice Awards Winners Announced!

Even though the Teen Choice Awards don’t air until tonight on Fox, the celebrities filled the red carpet last night in Los Angeles to tape the event. So, if you wanna be surprised, you might not wanna keep reading cuz we’ve got the winners in all things country right here.

Choice Music: Album, Country
“Fearless,” Taylor Swift

Choice Music: Country Song
“Fifteen,” Taylor Swift

Choice Music: Male Country Artist
Keith Urban

Choice Music: Female Country Artist
Taylor Swift

Choice Music: Country Group
Lady Antebellum

Choice Movie: Female Breakout
Taylor Swift, Valentine’s Day

Over 85 MILLION votes were cast online for the fan-voted awards show. To the best of my knowledge, none of the country acts were actually present at last nights awards. However, Taylor Swift did accept her awards via satellite from Japan where she was performing.

In case you care who the big winners of the night were; Taylor and Justin Bieber took home 4 surf boards each while Twilight Saga: New Moon & Eclipse nabbed 12 surf boards thanks to Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Kellen Lutz, and Ashley Greene.

You can see the full list of winners here.

Taylor Swift & Taylor Lautner Nab MTV Movie Award Nomination

The nominations are out for the ever entertaining MTV Movie Awards.  Obviously the list is filled with vampires and werewolves along with a few blue alien/human hybrids thanks to Twilight and Avatar…but country music’s own Taylor Swift nabbed a nomination for her very first movie role in Valentine’s Day.  Taylor Swift and ex-boy-toy Taylor Lautner are nominated for my favorite catagory, Best Kiss.  Now, I’m not sure Taylor x 2 will take home the award since they are up against teenage-angsty couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (that’s Edward & Bella for all of you people who live under a rock).  The MTV Movie Awards air on Sunday, June 6th.

Taylor Swift Hits Comic Book Stands in July

Fame: Taylor Swift hits comic book stands in July and stars…Taylor Swift.  From Bluewater Productions, the same line has covered Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Colin Powell;  Fame: Taylor Swift is part of a new series.  Based on quick rises to fame, the Fame series will also cover Lady GaGa, David Beckham, and Robert Pattinson.

Learning about Taylor’s life from the beginning until now made her feel like more than just the next big thing, it made me see the pop icon as a human being.” Said writer CW Cooke.

Artist Marquez said he was impressed while reading the script to Swift’s comic at the dedication the young artist showed even as a child.

“I really appreciate Swift’s – and her parent’s – drive from such a young age to be successful based on her creativity and talent,” Marquez said.

Fans can order the comic at Amazon.com or buy from their local comic book store.
