The Award Shows are Not Over Yet! Up Next, the AMA’s

Next up, after the CMAs, it’s the American Music Awards. The acts are being nailed down and so far, they include Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Kid Rock, among others, like Katy Perry, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and a reunion of the Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block.

The AMAs are Sunday, November 21. They’ll air on ABC. Three hours before the awards show starts, ABC.com will present a live red carpet show. Danny Gokey and Jennette McCurdy are among those doing red-carpet interviews for the pre-show. By the way, voting for the AMAs still is going on at www.amavote.com.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Wife Tish Calling it Quits

Don’t know who’s suffering with an achy-breaky heart as this marriage comes to an end: Billy Ray Cyrus or Tish Cyrus? They’ve filed for divorce in Tennessee.

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus have issued a statement together that says: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”

In the divorce complaint acquired by Us Magazine — filed in Williamson Country Chancery Court — singer Billy Ray, 49, is listed as the plaintiff, citing “irreconcilable differences.

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus have been married 17 years and both had been married before. Between them they have 5 kids: 3 of them together including Miley Cyrus.

Nashville Rising Concert Raised an Astounding $2.2 Million for Flood Relief

Last month’s “Nashville Rising” benefit concert raised more than $2.2 million for flood relief efforts.

The money comes from tickets sales, donations and sponsorships for the June 22 concert, which was held at Bridgestone Arena.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill hosted and performed during the event.  With Amy Grant, Billy Ray Cyrus, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Julie Roberts, LeAnn Rimes, Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Martina McBride, Michael W. Smith, Miley Cyrus, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Taylor Swift, Toby Keith and ZZ Top also lending their voices. Celebrity appearances also included Sandra Bullock and Vince Young.

“Dolly Parton Celebrates 25 Years Of Dollywood” Replays Tonight

Just in case you missed it or forget to set your DVR last week, “Dolly Parton Celebrates 25 Years Of Dollywood” will replay tonight on the Hallmark Channel.

Billy Ray Cyrus is thankful he and Miley Cyrus are so close with Dolly Parton. He says “it’s great” that Miley “has someone like Dolly to idolize, someone to look up to.” He adds “having that type of influence in her life, it’s so amazing and so special.” In late May, Miley, Billy Ray and Kenny Rogers joined Parton in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, to shoot the hour-long TV special “Dolly Parton Celebrates 25 Years of Dollywood.”
