Mindy McCready is known as someone who likes to stand in the spotlight. Even for unflattering things. She has already been to rehab twice, been arrested multiple times and normally anytime something bad happens she ends up on a TV show somewhere talking about it.

No different this time. According to The Boot, Mindy has been cast in the VH-1 reality show, “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.” The show will follow eight celebrities as they go through an intense detoxification program. Mindy admits her vices are alcohol and prescription drugs.

The other rehab seeking stars set to appear this season are basketball great Dennis Rodman, actress MacKenzie Phillips (“One Day at a Time”), former Hollywood Madame Heidi Fleiss, former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Lisa D’Amato, former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr, former Miss United States Teen Kari Ann Peniche and former “Real World Hollywood” star Joey Kovar.

Maybe third time is a charm for Mindy. It looks like country music is making its rounds on reality TV.
