Lady Antebellum Gives Fans the Ultimate Experience with Carnival Live Concert

Lady A

Country Music Tattle Tale set sail with Carnival Cruise Lines last week on their biggest and newest ship in their fleet, Carnival Breeze, to welcome country music superstars Lady Antebellum to their Carnival Live Concert Series.

The Carnival Live Concert Series allows guests to indulge in all of the amenities, fun and excitement of a Carnival Cruise with the added benefit to purchase tickets to see some of their favorite artists in a small and intimate theater setting. The Lady Antebellum show proved to be the ultimate experience for fans of all ages. Lady Antbellum turned the 1,349-seat Ovation Theater on board the Carnival Breeze into one of their big stage arena shows belting out both new and old hits. They also serenaded the audience with their version of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s song, “Islands in the Stream.”

Taking advantage of the small and intimate theater Charles Kelly found himself in the middle of hundreds of fans giving high fives and taking selfies.   He also found a cute young lady who he knew just had to meet Hillary. The young fan found herself on stage jumping up and down all while giving Hillary hugs.

This was our second Carnival Live concert, Martina McBride performed earlier this year, and I just have to say…..if you see that one of your favorite artists will be performing with Carnival run to book your tickets now!  Arena and stadium concerts are great but there is nothing better than seeing your favorite artist in a small, intimate setting where you feel as if they are singing directly to you. The Carnival Live Concert series can give you this experience.

Here is how you can get on board a Carnival Cruise for a Carnival Live Concert.

It’s really that easy!

Tickets to the shows cost between $35 and $60 per guest (depending on the band), and VIP tickets are $125–250 per guest. As a VIP, you’ll get some of the best seats to the show, a laminated commemorative VIP pass… plus an exclusive meet-and-greet with the band, including an opportunity for a photo.

There’s no will-call line to wait in, either — tickets will be delivered to your stateroom during your cruise. Seat selections are not assigned, and seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Country Music Tattle Tale would like to thank Carnival Cruise Lines and the entire crew of the Carnival Breeze for a wonderful week!

Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Hunter Hayes & MORE on Front & Center

LIttle Big Town

The critically-acclaimed concert series “Front and Center” and the Country Music Association have teamed up to present four all-new CMA Songwriters Series episodes set to air as part of “Front and Center’s” Spring season on public television (check local listings).

The shows will feature performances from some of the hottest names in Country Music including Brandy Clark, Bob DiPiero, Sara Evans, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, and Charlie Worsham, who have collectively sold more than 20 million albums, won 12 CMA Awards, had 11 No.1 albums, and charted more than 30 No. 1 singles.

Along with a virtual who’s who of songwriters, the shows will be filmed from Marathon Music Works in Nashville on Dec. 1 and 2 (two each day).

Last season “Front and Center” announced its partnership with CMA and taped two shows: one program featured Lady Antebellum and the second was a special 10th Anniversary Celebration of the CMA Songwriters Series with Dierks Bentley. The episodes premiered last month as part of “The 48th Annual CMA Awards” celebration and will continue to air through the end of the year.

“CMA is extremely proud of our songwriters and their many contributions to the success of Country Music,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “And we are thrilled to partner with ‘Front and Center’ again to shine a national spotlight on this important segment of our industry. It’s great knowing that we have a partner who truly appreciates the talent of Nashville’s creative community.”

“The reaction that we received as a result of our partnership with the CMA, and subsequently from the shows that we aired with Lady Antebellum and Dierks Bentley, was overwhelming,” said “Front and Center” Executive Producer Don Maggi. “The acceptance that ’Front and Center’ has received from the Nashville music community, and its fans, left no question that we should do even more for the forthcoming Spring season. Four NEW CMA Songwriters Series shows, with some of the best that Country Music has to offer – a clear victory for the fans that will get to see these artists in a one-of-a-kind setting.”

Evans and McBride will take the stage on Monday, Dec. 1st (6:30 PM/CT), followed by a performance by Hayes (9:30 PM/CT).

Little Big Town will open the performances on Tuesday, Dec. 2nd (6:30 PM/CT), followed by DiPiero and Friends: Clark, McAnally, and Worsham (9:30 PM/CT).

CMA Award winners Evans and McBride will join musical forces for a CMA Songwriters Series “Ladies Night Out.”

The final taping on Tuesday will be Bob DiPiero and Friends. DiPiero was instrumental in the creation of the CMA Songwriters Series back in 2005. A member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, he has notched 15 No. 1 hits including “Little Rock” (recorded by Reba), “Blue Clear Sky” (recorded by George Strait), and “Southern Voice” (recorded by Tim McGraw). He will be joined by 2014 CMA Song of the Year winners, Clark and Shane McAnally as well as Warner Music Nashville recording artist Worsham.
