Mark Chesnutt Helping A Boy In A Fight For His Life

Mark Chesnutt will be performing at a benefit for a 5 year old little boy in Oklahoma with a rare and fatal form of brain stem cancer.  The concert will be held on July 26 at the Asbury Park Complex in Comanche, Ok at 6:00pm.

Kendrick Little has been battling an Intrensic Brainstem High Grade Glioma tumor since Thanksgiving 2008 and has undergone a greuling 15 hour surgery as well as radiation treatments and 65-70 percent of the tumor was removed. However, currently there is no cure for HGG and doctors have given Kendrick 12-18 months.  The medical bills that the family has incurred while fighting this battle is insurmountable and Mark Chesnutt stepped up to help.

“This event is special for me and I am honored to help this family,” said Chesnutt. “With three young and healthy kids, it is hard to think about what little Kendrick and his family are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with them all as they live day-to-day fighting this silent killer.”

Tickets to this benefit are $50 per person. If you need more information or to make a contribution please contact: geanannbadgwell@clearwire.net.
