Last Sunday, hot Country trio The Band Perry attended the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, NV. While backstage at the show, the siblings shared a fun moment with rock legends, KISS. The Band Perry’s Kimberly, Neil, and Reid all did their best “KISS face” for the camera before taking the stage to perform their brand new single, “Postcard from Paris.” Later in the evening, they also presented the New Artist of the Year award, which they won last year.

8. The ACMs are more than just an awards show.  It was host to yet another NRA Celebrity Shoot this year.  Here is what @CMorganMusic had to say “Yes I beat @blakeshelton at the NRA ACM celebrity shoot”

3. There is nothing like the country music family.  @Reba showed her love for other artists “1st big win for Thompson Square last night! Sure would have been nice to see them win on stage during the show! I missed that!”

2. I don’t know why @Miranda_Lambert had anything to fear.  She should be getting used to award shows by now “Nervous. ACM day!”

1. Last night was our first time seeing @BradPaisley without a cowboy hat.  I hope that was a one time only experience “Probably not my new look. But I’ll try anything once. Thanks for the jam Zachary.”

‘The Academy of Country Music announced today that Marc Anthony, Ashton Kutcher, Jake Owen, LeAnn Rimes, Grace Potter, and Eli Young Band are scheduled to present as part of the 47th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS. The ceremony, which honors country music’s top talent as well as the industry’s hottest emerging artists, is produced for television by dick clark productions and will be broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.

Capitol Records Nashville Sr. Director of New Media, Dawn Gates, is a firm believer in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission. As a nominee for their Nashville Woman of the Year, she has teamed up with a variety of artists, celebrities and award shows to host a Celebrity eBay Auction to raise funds for LLS. The initiative is just one of many fundraising efforts being made as she tries to personally raise $50,000 by the end of May.

Leading artists, television shows and hosts in the industry have donated personal experiences, meet-and-greets, studio experiences and more to help raise funds. Featured artists include Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, KISS, Peter Frampton, Blake Shelton, Amy Grant, Young Buck, Donny & Marie, Darius Rucker, Jennette McCurdy, Danny Gokey and many others.
