Last night, CMT taped their first Artist of the Year special. Airing on Friday night, CMT honored Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, and the Zac Brown Band for their amazing years. Hosted by Kevin Costner, the swanky dinner and ceremony took place in Nashville. Many artists helped celebrate including Smokey Robinson, Kid Rock, Adele, Luke Bryan, Kix Brooks, Randy Travis, Randy Owen, Darius Rucker, Maroon 5, and more. Amos Lee to Perform on CMT’s Artists of the Year & Announced Ryman Concert

Amos Lee will be a featured performer on CMT Artists of the Year, a 90-minute special hosted by Kevin Costner that honors this year’s top country artists. Premiering Friday, December 3 at 8:00pm ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com, the special will celebrate Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Zac Brown Band by bringing them together with their peers, for a glamorous evening of star-studded performances from the country world and beyond.

Lee will be performing with the Zac Brown Band on a rendition of “Colder Weather,” a new song from their #1 sophomore album ‘You Get What You Give.’

Lee has also announced his first-ever headlining concert at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on April 8. A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available to fans starting today by clicking here. General ticket on-sales begin on Friday, December 3. The Band Perry, Craig Morgan, & Kevin Costner Celebrate the ‘Spirit of Nashville’

Having returned the Grand Ole Opry House after being displaced from the venue due to May’s historic Nashville flood, the Grand Ole Opry is inviting Music City to celebrate its homecoming during “Spirit of Nashville Day” this Saturday, October 2nd. The day will offer free tours of the newly-refurbished Opry House, free music in the Plaza beginning at noon with a free 6:00 p.m. performance by The Band Perry, food and beverage on the Plaza, and special Opry shows recognizing persons affected by May’s flood as well as many others who assisted with flood recovery efforts. Mayor Karl Dean will join the evening’s 7:00 p.m. show as an Opry Guest Announcer. Performers on the night’s shows include Charley Pride, Craig Morgan, and Academy Award-winner Kevin Costner.

The schedule for the day includes:

Free Opry House Tours 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Free music on the Opry Plaza beginning at 12 noon
Performance by CMA nominee The Band Perry 6 p.m.
Opry performances 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

For those unable to visit live and in person, Opry member Dierks Bentley will host his own Opry House tour for fans around the world on the Opry’s Facebook page, also beginning at 10 a.m.
