soundspeed1

Mark your calendar for January 8th and 9th as Sprint Sound & Speed Presented by SunTrust takes over Nashville for the
fifth consecutive year!

The two-day event kicks off Friday, January 8th, with a special night of music at the Grand Ole Opry, when Sound & Speed hits the stage of the historic Ryman Auditorium. Choose from one of two shows – 7:00pm or 9:30pm – and see performances by Hank Williams Jr. (9:30 ONLY), Chris Young, Kyle Petty and his band, with more artists to be announced, plus appearances by some of today’s biggest names in NASCAR including
Kasey Kahne and Greg Biffle.

Sound & Speed continues on January 9th at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium, bringing together the worlds of NASCAR and country music, with appearances by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Denny Hamlin, Michael Waltrip and Clint Bowyer alongside country artists, including Josh Turner, Jason Michael Carroll and DiamondRio. And the list of artists and drivers continues to grow!

You’ll also experience autograph sessions, storytelling from the stars, Q&A sessions, sponsor displays and be the first to see the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series showcars!

Once again, all proceeds benefit Victory Junction and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Dierks Bentley on cover of USA Weekend

Dierks Bentley and Kasey Kahne are on the cover of USA Weekend today talking about making a difference and how you can to.

Good guys.  Good causes.  Is the lead into this great article about the Foundations that these two have put together to raise money for those who need it the most.

Dierks and Kasey met at the Grand Ole Opry in 2006 and they have stayed in touch ever since.  They go on to talk about helping each other out in anyway that they can to help out their charitable efforts.  Dierks says that he is always available to sign whatever Kasey need him to in order to help out his Kasey Kahne Foundation.

“You have to make it fun.” Dierks tells the USA Weekend.  “My event combines two things I love more than anything – being on stage and being on a motorcycle.  Country stars love their motorcycles, so this gives fans a chance to ride with them, contribute to a great cause and enjoy a great show.”

Make sure to check out the full interview in the USA Weekend paper.
