Top Country Tours According to Pollstar

Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” tour now ranks third on Pollstar’s all-genre top-20 of the last three months. Kanye West and Jay-Z are number one and Cirque du Soleil is second. Keith Urban’s tour is ranked eighth and Jason Aldean’s is tenth. There are only three country acts in the top-20 right now.

Gretchen Wilson Talks Kanye West on CMT Web Buzz

On this weeks CMT Web Buzz, Gretchen Wilson breaks her silence about being Kanya West’s first “outburst” 6 years ago at the American Music Awards when Gretchen won an award both she and Kanye were nominated for. Kanye apparently apologized, but as per usual…he should probably learn to think BEFORE he speaks…then he won’t need to write so many dang apology notes.

Taylor Swift Says Kanye is “Innocent”

Tonight, Taylor Swift performed “Innocent” at the MTV VMA Awards. The song was a last minute addition to the broadcast. Taylor wrote the song earlier this year about the infamous Kanye West interruption during her VMA acceptance speech at last year’s show. Even during rehearsals, Taylor only hummed the song to avoid giving-away any of the performance; wanting to save it for the live show.

I think Taylor took the high-road here…What do you think??

“Innocent” will appear on Taylor’s upcoming album Speak Now available on October 25th.

Taylor Swift and Kanye West to Perform at VMA’s Tonight

Will everyone behave themselves tonight? Probably not, but my best guess is that Kanye West will think twice about jumping up on stage unannounced tonight.

Both Taylor Swift and Kanye West are set to perform on tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards but they are NOT expected to share the stage during the evening’s event.

Taylor’s performance was added as a surprise to the show this morning.     I kinda hope all goes smooth between the two tonight so we can stop talking about it.
