Photo of the Day: Darius Rucker & the Jonas Brothers

Darius Rucker & Jonas Brothers

This is a picture from last year, but I just now found it. Darius Rucker and the Jonas Brothers posed for a picture while on Jimmy Kimmel Live.  This photo was found on www.DariusRucker.com.  For some reason, I find this very comical.

SheDaisy fills Stadium on July 4th

Okay, I’ll admit that titles a little slanted…SheDaisy and The Jonas Brothers played to 50,000 fans at the Stadium of Fire show in Utah on July 4th.  I’m willing to bet that about 49,000 of them weren’t there to see SheDaisy…

Carter Twins Don’t Want You to Give Up on Your Dreams

It’s no secret around here that we are HUGE fans of the Carter Twins.  We loved them as soon as we heard them harmonize the first time.  And now it seems that more and more people are starting to take notice.   South Carolina’s The State newspaper has a great article about the guys and a great message the Carter Twins gave Hilton Head Christian Academy during a recent performance.

“I know it sounds cheesy, but don’t give up on your dreams because they really can come true,” Zach told the crowd. “I know being on this small island, you wonder if you’ll ever get off it to do something big, and you can.”

The article goes on to tell some really cute stories about their childhood and why the Jonas Brothers couldn’t beat them in a fight. Check out the article and don’t forget to vote for the Carter Twins at www.cmt.com

Thanks to www.cartertwins.org for finding the article.

Taylor Swift on CSI-BRAVO!!!

Even though I’m exhausted from my late night jaunt downtown Nashville for some CRS showcases, I skipped a nap and watched CSI via DVR….WOW!!!! I had a feeling Taylor Swift could act, but I was a tad leary about her pulling off a drama…TAYLOR-YOU NAILED IT!!!!  I mean, really well done.

Taylor played a troubled teen who’s life was a tangled web of lies carefully woven by her ‘parents.’  By the end of the show, Taylor had sported 3 different looks, several personalities, and she lay lifeless on the damp blacktop.  She was believable and likable; and I’m very impressed with her death scene…(apparently it’s very difficult to pull-off a decent death scene since I’ve seen so many terrible ones in my day).

I expect to see much more of Taylor Swift on the Big Screen and Silver Screen. Watch out Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus…There’s someone much more likeable with much more talent taking the world by storm.
