Kenny Chesney & Jimmy Buffet Perform For Everglades Foundation Benefit

Kenny Chesney is known for his high-energy live shows and his love for the outdoors. Last night, they came together in Palm Beach, Fla. where Chesney performed for the Everglades Foundation benefit. Chesney’s friend and Foundation Board member Jimmy Buffet joined Chesney on stage for Chesney’s “Back Where I Come From” and one of Buffett’s signature songs, “Come Monday.” Mac McAnally joined Chesney on “Down The Road.”

“I was honored that Jimmy (Buffett) asked me to be a part of the Everglades Foundation Benefit. Restoring and protecting future damage to the Everglades is very important to me. Hopefully this helped bring some attention to a very important cause.” The Everglades Foundation is dedicated to protecting and restoring one of the world’s unique natural ecosystems, providing economic, recreational and life- sustaining benefits to the millions of people who depend on its future health. Chesney joins a diverse line up of artists who have performed at previous benefits including Sting, Gloria Estefan, Diana Ross and John Mellencamp.

Chesney now turns his full attention to his Corona Presents Kenny Chesney’s “Goin Coastal” Tour which has already sold more than 500,000 tickets and more than 30 shows have not even gone on sale yet! With 11 stadiums and more than 40 arena and amphitheater shows, Corona Presents Kenny Chesney’s “Goin Coastal” Tour finds him back in the Palm Beach County area for the kick-off on March 17th and then onto Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay on March 19th.

Adam Craig Band – CMTT’s January 2011 Celebrity Tattle Tale

CMTT is SOOOOO excited to kick off 2011 with the Adam Craig Band as our Celebrity Tattle Tale.   Keep checking back through the month to see what the guys are up to.  They will be sending us blog posts, video updates and more all month long~  Do you have questions for Adam Craig Band?  Send them to contact@countrymusictattletale.com and we will be sure to get them answered for you.

Hey everybody, we’re the Adam Craig Band. For everyone who already reads our blog they obviously know this, but for the first time this whole month of January our blog is being featured at www.countrymusictattletale.com!! We’re finally starting to wake up out of the holiday season, so all month we’ll post a bunch of pictures from shows and the road.

Right before the holidays we released a new single called “Nothin Wrong” which you can hear and request all over the country. It’s on a new EP we released last year that’s on iTunes or anywhere you can get music. We recorded the EP with producer Josh Leo who’s worked with everyone from Alabama and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band to people like Jimmy Buffet and Don Henley. It was awesome!! We’re so proud of the music and we really hope everyone likes it.

2011 will be full of a lot of radio touring. It’s crazy when you do radio tours. You literally go to like 3 cities a day playing 3 songs either on air or in a little conference room for radio big shots. We toured for so long just doing night shows so it’s still a trip playing as hard as you can at 5:30 in the morning.

We will still have plenty of cool openers people can come out to see. Before we ended last year we played with a bunch of artists like Chris Young, Josh Thompson, The Band Perry and Josh Turner to name a few. Some of those shows were at cool old theater venues, which we really love. Being the opener is the best because you play for about 30 minutes then you have the rest of the night to watch the show and start partying before everybody else. Yeah, we like to have a good time…

Also our lead singer Adam along with Josh Thompson and Michael Howard had a song they wrote called “Church Pew or Bar Stool” cut by Jason Aldean!! Nice work boys!!

To find all the places that we play and any other stuff just go to adamcraigband.com. We also do a ton of stuff on Twitter and Facebook, so just look up the Adam Craig Band. Because we tour so much we have a lot of time for posting fun, weird and crazy videos and pictures on all those sites. We’re pumped to be featured on Country Music Tattle Tale and we will fill their site with crazy stuff from both the road and at home in Nashville. We hope everyone had a great holiday season and here’s a big ol’ official cheers from us to you for 2011!!! Talk to you soon!!
