Alan Jackson’s New Single, “Long Way To Go,” Now Available on iTunes

Alan Jackson’s debut single from EMI Records Nashville/ACR (Alan’s Country Records), “Long Way To Go,” is available for digital download now at iTunes and other digital retailers. The single is the first from his upcoming album which will be released this fall. Jackson debuted the single in concert for close to 100,000 fans at Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival last Friday, June 17.

Randy Montana’s “1,000 Faces” is iTunes Single of the Week

The latest iTunes “Single of the Week” honors belong to the boundary-free, rocking single “1,000 Faces” from the gravelly-voiced newcomer Randy Montana. From now thru next Tuesday, visit http://bit.ly/RandySOTW for the free download.

While recently on tour with Sugarland and Little Big Town, Montana began to see firsthand the strong and immediate connection people have to “1,000 Faces,” and that was months before it was played on country radio. “It’s incredible to play that song live,” says Montana, who wrote it with Tom Douglas. “People come up and say, ‘1,000 Faces’ was my favorite song of the night.’ It’s fun to play it live because you get this whole burst of energy yourself.”

Catch Montana live in Nashville Wednesday, January 26 at Nashville Lifestyles’ Music in the City event at The Tin Roof in Cool Springs. Montana will take the stage at 7pm.

Taylor Swift’s “Mean” Available on iTunes

Taylor Swift is counting down the days til her October 25th release of Speak Now with a new release from iTunes. Call me crazy, but I’m more intrigued by the cover art for each of these songs…LOVE IT!

This weeks download, “Mean,” is getting a lot of speculation as to the story behind the song. Taylor recently told Parade magazine a little more about the song, and it stems from some harsh criticism about her voice. Click here to get your copy of “Mean” from iTunes.

“Some days I’m fine and I can just brush it off and go about my day, but some days it absolutely levels me. All I can do is continue to try to work hard every single day and feel everything. I think it’s important to feel things because I then write songs about that. The whole idea of being criticized and the fact that that entered my life made for a song that I’m very proud of on the record, called “Mean.’”

Lady Antebellum Exclusive iTunes EP Available TODAY!

Lady Antebellum releases a seven song EP of their biggest hits and fan-favorite cuts as part of an iTunes Session. The band also recorded a cover song, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’ “Learning To Fly.” The intimate performance was recorded at a studio in Nashville earlier this Spring.
