Love & Theft Break the “World Wide Open” on August 25th

After moving from Austin, Texas, Charlotte, North Carolina and Palm Harbor, Florida in 2005 to pursue their country music dreams, Love And Theft’s Brian Bandas, Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles met through songwriter’s nights and mutual friends in Nashville. Their shared musical chemistry has been apparent from the very beginning, with harmonies that blended effortlessly and immediately.

Fast forward three and a half years into the story of Love And Theft and the trio is set to release its debut album, World Wide Open, on August 25th on Disney’s Carolwood Records.

They will also make their first-ever national TV appearance this Friday, August 21 when they perform on NBC’s Today Show.

“Getting the opportunity to play on the Today Show is a huge deal, I don’t care who you are,” relates Love And Theft’s Brian Bandas. “To be a fairly new band just days away from releasing our very first album and get asked to play the Today Show in front of millions of people across the country, this is gonna be absolutely incredible!”

Love And Theft will chat with the Today Show’s Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb and play their hit single “Runaway” this Friday during the 10am broadcast of NBC’s top-rated morning show.
