Carrie Underwood- Thumb Twiddling Hockey Wife

Carrie Underwood chatted with People.com last night on the Golden Globe red carpet about married life. She’s been busy not being busy with music, and just being a hockey wife.
It is hard being a hockey wife,” the country star, 27, told PEOPLE. “They will go off for a few days at a time to play some road games, and I am just like sitting at home twiddling my thumbs thinking, ‘What do I do?’ “
“I cleaned, and we are moving into a new house, and so I was unpacking all of his stuff,” she said. “And laundry and dishes.”
Carrie didn’t win the Golden Globe last night for Best Original Song, even though she had a good luck charm with her, a mirror her mother had given her.
“She has had it every time I have won something big,” Underwood explained. “So, she thinks the key to the whole thing is the mirror.”

Tonight the Golden Globes will take over NBC. Carrie Underwood looked stunning on the red carpet. This was her first Gold Globes and she’s nominated for “There’s A Place For Us” for The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader. Keith Urban also accessorized wife Nicole Kidman. Nicole is nominated for her role in The Rabbit Hole.
