George Jones Thanks Fans & Apologizes for Family Drama

George Jones has been attempting to heal from an upper respiratory infection that has forced him to cancel several shows. To thank fans, George posted a video on his website. However, the video takes a turn for the strange when he makes a personal apology for his daughter and son-in-law for spreading rumors online.

I would like to apologize for my daughter Georgette and her new husband for putting so much bad things about me on the Internet and Facebook,” said Jones in the video. “None of these things are true. They are all about money. I have gave and gave until I can no longer give. I will never let her go hungry, but I am tired of putting out, and I am not the person they claim I am.”

I applaud George for taking a public stand and pretty much telling the money grubbers where to go…
